Installation and use of leakage protectors

according to regulations, leakage protectors should be installed on power supply lines and equipment installed in water, electrical equipment installed in wet, corrosive and other places, mobile electrical equipment, hand-held electric tools, electrical construction equipment at construction sites, electrical equipment for temporary use of electricity, various socket circuits in buildings, etc
then, how to install leakage protector
the installation of leakage protector should be in accordance with the requirements of the product manual, and full consideration should be given to the aluminum and its alloy materials of the power supply line due to their easy molding and processing and excellent physical and chemical properties, power supply mode, power supply voltage and system grounding type
(1) leakage protector is divided into three pole four wire type and four pole type, as shown in Figure 1. During the installation of leakage protector, neutral wire and protective wire (grounding wire of equipment shell) must be strictly distinguished. The neutral line of the leakage protector shall be connected to the leakage protection circuit, the neutral protection line shall be connected to the neutral line power side of the leakage protector, and shall not be connected to the load side. The neutral line after passing through the leakage protector shall not be connected to the exposed part of the equipment, and the protection line (equipment shell grounding wire) shall be separately grounded. (2) The neutral wire on the load side of the leakage protector shall not be shared with other low-carbon cast iron materials
(3) when the leakage protector is marked with load side and power side, it should be strictly in accordance with its provisions

(5) after the leakage protector is installed, the test button should be operated to check its working performance. It can be put into use only after confirming its normal operation
(6) installation must be carried out by qualified professional electricians trained by national legal institutions
during the daily use of the leakage protector, the test button should be checked once a month to see whether the leakage protector operates normally. After the leakage protection acts in use, it should be checked. If the cause of the accident is not found, it is allowed to test power transmission once. If it acts again, the cause must be found out to find out the fault. It is strictly forbidden to force continuous power transmission. The faulty leakage protector should be replaced in time. The use, management and maintenance of the leakage protector should be carried out by professional electricians. Non professional personnel should not move around. It is strictly forbidden to remove the leakage protector and forcibly send power unless it is checked and confirmed that the leakage protector itself is faulty
